I haven't enjoyed a Pokemon game since Crystal, personally. Boo. All the new ones are severely disappointing (or I've just outgrown the genre...but that's a sad thought).

Welcome to the club. I'm playing through Dragon Age 1 at the moment. I'm no where close to finished, either. And I want to play through with each race. That should give my brother enough to get and play through the second game.

I know, that game is crazy long. The main game alone took me a little over 28 hours on my first run, and I still have a couple more runs I want to make to try out all the classes.

You know. Everyone around me keeps mentioning that dragon age 2 is coming out. "Are you excited, are you pumped? you know its coming out soon right?!"

They do that because I was addicted to the first one, but I'm not sure why, but I'm kind of just 'meh' about it myself. Don't feel overally moved, maybe because they have a set character you have to care about already, instead of making something your own. Feels like they took away a little bit of yourself.

That could just be me though. I think they are going the Mass Effect way of things and making a signature character to follow around.

I hope it's awesome though, and I hope you enjoy it :)

I'm also not sure whether or not I'm enthused about the changes to the basic layout of the gameplay--but since I love the Mass Effect series as well, I'm choosing to stay optimistic.

But I swear to god if it sucks even nearly as bad as the primary expansion pack to the original Dragon Age, I'm going to scream.

Also don't worry. when halo wars had came out I had ditch most of school just to play. except for my IT teacher. he figured out the game had been released and had called my mobile and told to me to get my ass to class (I was about 5 min walking distance also it was year 12. so the school parity much did not care if I was or was not in class)

I just like how the animated the main character in the trailers, as he walks up in-front of the title. Its exactly like we would all love to walk like, as we go to kick some ass, looking all sleek and dangerous.

I actually bought dragon age 1, twice, When it first came out on steam, it didn't have the DLC's with it, so when they added them in later, I had to buy it again to get them :/ It was worth it though.

If it helps preparing you for what's to come, it handles like a mix between Mass Effect and KOTOR.

Maybe I had my sights set too high or in the wrong direction, but DA disappointed me so much I wouldn't bother giving DA2 a try. Besides, I have plenty of other things.

How was it?

It's pretty good, actually. Not nearly as spectacular as I was anticipating, but still a good game. Not quite done yet, so my opinion may still change. XD
