Be that as it may... for some, the emotions called "love" are too much to bear in some cases. I've always had the feeling about how I'll always be single despite many folks I talk to regularly that I'll find someone. But, I honestly don't think that. I just shrug it off (for the most part) and move on. It only gets to me when I feel sorry for myself.

Been there just recently, it does suck having to go through that even after knowing the other for so long. Like most other things, gotta move on and learn from the mistakes that prevented it from going on and it is true there is someone out there that is better, Just have to find them.

My best friend of 13 years left me because she wasn't okay with me falling in love with her. Just flipped out at the thought of it. It would be easier to move on if I didn't dream about her every night, and yet I haven't seen her in a year. I've never had a girlfriend and have been rejected by a dozen people since. And somehow I have to stay confident in myself and take it in stride. I man up and act like I'm okay being in my 20s and never been kissed. Because being depressed won't get me anywhere. I've lost a lot of male friends too because I became boring and uninteresting to them and they don't give whether it's because I'm sad or not. I went from being a loud fun guy to being quiet and neutral. Only one guy has stuck with me. He's been gone in Brazil for six months. I see him next week. Then he's leaving the week after to move in with his new fiance in another state. I'm happy for him, but it's hard for me. At least I'm one person's best man.

It's a confusing balance of trying to stay happy and optimistic and giving in to how I really feel.
