Furry tolerates all !! ( except spiders )

Rant time! - Seems I suck at trying to make a point.. let me try an clarify..
I hear quiet frequently on how furry culture is accepting of all walks of life.. But for the past few days i have chosen to be a spider, i walk around second life in my spider avie (mainly in furry sims) and i havent seen much of this tolerance .. i have been getting alot negative comments on my choice of fursona..
*edit* I didnt mean everyone was being nasty towards me.. but unforuntaly the negative comments did outweigh the positive ones here.
I understand people don't like spiders... I have had people asking me to take my avie off because they fear spiders.. personally im afraid of cats, horses an cows, but i don't go around telling people to change who they are, because there animal choice is something im afraid of..
If furs come across another Fur who is armed to the teeth in various deadly weapon.. they prolly would seem edgy and cool.. through this armed furry is much more dangerous then my spider character.. Being kill you as soon as look at you type furry is fine! we tolerate all sorts! How about a feral fox..sucking off a multi cocked herm dragon with dick nipples an 5 butts? awesome! furrys love this stuff! but a spider avatar?? KILL IT WITH FIRE!!
*edit* By this i was trying to show that, through furrys are into some strange an wonderful things.. some of it very extreme, they would find sombody dressed as a spider more shocking then the above mentioned.
Through all this hate for spiders irks me, im also amused by it.. part of the fun of being a spider is i enjoy the reactions i get in this fursona .. and ill admit it isnt always bad.
*edit* im not pointing fingers or attacking furs in general, i was trying to give something to think about.. personally ...as ive said above i find the comments amuseing.. but i still find them to be quiet rude of them to make nasty remarks. From this post.. i just felt the need to vent alittle.. and in some small way hope next time they keep there negative comments to themselves if they should ever come across a fursona that is strange an even scary to them.. like i said, it dosnt bother me personaly.. but the next person might not be so understanding.

You mean that? That looks more like a spider demon, not an anthropomorphic spider. Spiders and insects aren't exactly standard furries either. And personally, while I don't go around and bitch at people about it, I wouldn't say that I "love" mutli-cocked herm dragons with dick nipples and five butts being sucked off by feral foxes, and I'm sure if you were being reasonable, you'd realize that not all furries love that either.
But if you're enjoying the responses you get, why are you complaining? If you just ignore the complaints I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun and find plenty of people not freaked out by spiders.
I already know the answer , spiders & insects don't really fall under the catagory of being 'cute & fluffy' .. Spiders tend to used as a symbol of evil in storys..
Why am i complaining? because its still rude.. Most of the time im minding my own buisness an somebody will come up to me an start slagging of me an spiders in general.
I dunno about plenty of people.. lotsa people are afraid of spiders hehe

I'm scared of spiders too. But I think yours look a lot cuter than the average creepy-crawly, going by those pics you've been posting recently.
I wouldn't hassle you about it anyway, I'd just run away somewhere if I thought you were scary.
