It sucks... yes. But there's no way I'm going to be able to go this year. :(

I'm going to be 30 on October 1 and my goal is to have my own house by then. It's past time I move out of the parents' place.

Don't get me wrong, I love them both dearly, but I honestly do need to get out on my own. I'm still house hunting and hoping to find something before my birthday. I will be at Anime St. Louis in Collinsville, IL as I've already booked and paid for everything. Morphicon is a no go, Archon in St. Louis, MO is 15 min away so I will be there regardless of what my housing situation is as that is the same weekend as my birthday and I'm going to be celebrating it there. :P

MFF... ugh... I HOPE I can go... but I'm not holding my breath. ;_; Planning on booking a room in a month or two from now or whenever the block prices open up since it won't cost me anything until I'm actually there and it won't cost me anything to cancel. So it's a waiting game... ><;

Looking at six houses this Saturday... hopefully one of them says MINE when I walk in the front door, if not, more foreclosures are still popping up and will be moreso during the spring... I'm giving myself until the end of September to get moved out, so I have some time... but not much. XD I'm crossing my fingers but not holding my breath... -_-;
