Commissioned Artist Help, Need Advice!
Ok, so, I commissioned a ref sheet a month ago from someone of my new 'sona. I've seen her do other specials and already have those put up in her gallery. She's currently now dealing with some medical issues which she's doing more emergency commissions for. I haven't gotten a note from her with the sketch of my commission or anything yet. Here's the thing, I'm afraid to contact her and ask what's going on. I know she needs the money from the new batch she's doing to help with her medical problem, so I'm afraid of noting her and coming off like a bitch, which I don't want to do. ._.; She never gave me an ETA of when I'd get my commission but... it's been a month and she has other people ahead of me on her "to do" list, but I'm not sure if she's taken care of them yet either. Would it be right for me to ask her what's going on and ask when I'll be getting my ref? Granted I won't be giving the ref to a fursuit builder for some time since now I'm having a baby and need any funds I can hold onto for the baby but... I'm a little concerned I won't get my ref. >.>; And yes, I've already paid for it. Paid for it up front in full. <.<

I would just send a friendly reminder, or note her asking if she can give you a time frame in which you're commission may be done. Theres no harm in asking if its been awhile an you have already paid her.
