Early Spring Love
Night, and all I hear is our hearts beating
as we move in and out...of you, of me;
in perfect chaos, while stars align
for our shuddering end, we entwine.
Cotton candy, bubblegum pop and sugar plums,
each almost as sweet as when you come...
with me in places so peaceful and serene,
as quickened breaths turn to quiet murmurings.
Day, and the sun will rise high
and there we'll be...rising with it.
As our shadows grow, our bodies will fly
into such a high, we will never forget it.
