Any need for this? Tavi is a great guy who loves his followers very much, granted he may not look at your art but he's a busy guy who draws almost everyday for his fans,putting alot of commitment into his work, is it not possible that he hasn't got the time? Give him a break dude, sure he's a popular babyfur but there's one sole reason for that.

An opinion yes, but to wrongly judge someone is abit different, i dont know you personally but what you did was way out of line, at least try to see it from our point of view and i hope you see what we mean.

i'll consider what you said, since you were one of the few people to be somewhat neutral towards my unneeded aggressive stance towards tavi. but it still doesn't change the fact that i think the whole "watch for watch" thing is bullshit!

i agree with you on that tavi is a great person i knew him for a long time and is a good friend he has the right to see what he wants so does everyone and if you dont liek what he thinks thats fine with me you proved him right and he is a very great artist hwo has done very wonderful things i knwo we are friends too and this isnt the dynavryn i know.

seriously, people are takeing this site way to seriously. they think just because they draw a picture, no matter how good or how shitty, that the world must look at their are and say how good the artist is.

To be honest, I watch a lot of people, and on average I get about 100 submissions a day. I view maybe 10 of them. and only comment if I feel a need. I dont have time to open each picture journal and comment. So yeah, I look at what I want to view. If you make several nice pictures I'll comment, if you make several nice ones and one bad one, big deal. I am not gonna unwatch someone because they post a pic of something I dont like, or below the level they have set for themselves. Many of the people I watch are my friends. I watch them because I support them.

Now at risk of sounding like an ass, because I am one of those lazy turds they hasn't looked at your profile, Do you chew people out when they say they dont like a picture, or that they dont agree with what you show in your pictures. These days, 99% of the artists on FA specifically state "If you dont like it, or you think its no good, then dont comment or I'll report you for harassment" I've had it done for specifically saying that a picture just didn't fit my style, but good job anyways. Got suspended for a week over it. they stupid thing was, I like that artists work, but now I cant view it due to a block.

Bottom line, if you want comments, or you want your watchers to look at your work and say what you wanna hear, post your work in a museum. till then, take what you have and be happy. dont stress, and dont flip out at others because they wont do what you want them to.

The thing is, I was asking for feedback, good or bad, and I basically was told "nah, I'll just unwatch you" It's a little ironic that he has hours to dick around on FA replying to people about how he doest want to look at someone's art when he could take 2 minutes to read a 5 stanza poem and say "it sucks". I would actually appreciate him doing because at least he took the time to look at my art

but maybe it was the way it was done. Just because someone watches you doesnt mean they have to comment and tell you how good or bad you are. It shouldn't be "Watch me, then tell me why you watched me or I will block you" [And to note everyone, I am only making an example. I dont think this person said this] But unfortunately at least 75% of the artists out there feel that they have a right to know what people think. and its to the point that many artists make these threats, or insinuate them just so they can get a "I think its nice" Other artists feel that if you didnt make a 10 page report about what you think, or if you give them negative feedback about the pic, that you are harassing them.

All I am trying to say really, is dont pick on someone who wont comment on a piece of work. And dont force them to take a stand. Maybe he was uncomfortable with the poem, maybe it hit memories he doesn't want to have dug up. or maybe he doesn't want to deal with any bullshit should he say the wrong thing the wrong way. if he doesn't want to reply or say what he thinks, then leave it at that, and remember not to ask any more.


As for your watch for a watch thing, [sorry forgot this in my original post] I do agree, you shouldn't just watch people because they watched you, you should watch people because you want to support them. I get notes from people all the time "I watched you last week but now I am un-watching you cause you didnt watch me back" and that is absolutely rude and wrong to do. Tavi however, doesnt go to other furs and say "Well I watched you, now you better watch me" he just watches them, and from time to time he does view their pics, or reads a journal, or even their poems. its not the same as a "Watch 4 watch" thing thats been goin around.

Bottom line is, Tavi, whether or not he was joking, has decided to not comment on your poem, big deal, write more poems and see if you get a response, if not, find another place, like a poetry site, to post them and see if you can get the proper feed back there. best advice I can come up with

I generally make it a rule to only watch people who 1) Make artwork that appeals to me and 2) Don't annoy me with their presence. So I guess you lose on both counts.

on top of this, i have commissions to attend to.
so while i do make an effort to see everything thats posted, i don't have the time or stamina to view it all.


tavi is under double that pressure. he has all that, deadlines, work, and hundreds of people messaging him.

Tavi and Ozzy are nice people, they always look at my art and leave nice comments and Fave Stuff.
Maybe your stories just arent something they are into, that does not in fact make them a hypocrite.
It was nice of them to freaking watch you at all... if you're this much of an ass to your watchers i wouldn't wanta give your work a second glance.

Dude, lol, seriously, its nothing big to get upset over and honestly, I don't even think it's that he's a 'big name' looking down on you or anything. Honestly, I give people a watch back as a sign of acknowledgment and thanks for watching me. Also, since people can see who I watch, I can hopefully draw some attention to them. :3

No, he's mad for getting the watch but not the comments. This is why I keep my watch list small... it does feel slightly dishonest to watch people whose work doesn't appeal to you.

but theres more then one for example
two: they may be following you for your jopurnels as a sign of friendship cuz they wanna know how your doing and all that it doesnt have to be about art all the time
\and anyways i know from being freinds with tavi for a little while now that he does look at your art hes just watching so many people that if he doesnt have reason to comment then he doesnt comment he gets hundreds of new submisions from his watchers a day he cant possibly respond to all of em unlike you he does have a life

I'm not that into poetry, but I do read and write stories. I like art and sculptures, but only certain things. I'm not going to fav and comment on something if I don't like it. It doesn't mean your art or poetry is bad, it just means I'm not interested in it. The same goes for Tavi I'm sure. We both like babyfur art, trains, and cute stuff. One thing Tavi would never say is that he doesn't give a damn about what people submit. He's not one to compare someone's art to someone else's and say one is better or worse. I think you're the real hypocrite here, since you've only faved 3 things and haven't commented on them. You're watching 14 people but only have 3 favs? I don't see you faving or commenting on Tavi's stuff. You commented on that one poem I wrote for Tavi on Valentine's Day, but that's it. No favs or other comments. Maybe if you practiced what you preach, you would get more in return.

as for the practicing what i preach thing. believe me, i would be on here a lot more if i had the time. between my internship, school, and my job, i don't have a lot of time to be on FA. FA isn't my main source of income so I'm not on as much as i want to be, hell! i even have a few short stories and chapters of my novel i have to post that i haven't had time to do.

if youre not on fa all the time, what makes you think tavi is? even if he does get a lotta commisions, that doesnt mean he spends a huge amount of time on here, sometimes just long enough to post his commisions and be off to do something else cuz he does have real life things to tend to as well...

Well, thats just it, Tavi doesn't spend as much time on FA as he would like either. He's always busy either drawing, coloring, helping me, or doing his own thing. He has a life too. Its still no reason to bash Tavi like this with a hateful journal, then block his comment when there was no harsh words to be said by him. We both usually do watch someone when they watch us, even if they don't have any art. Its because they have taken an interest in us or what art we have up, and its more of a friend thing than just "Ooooh, I like your art!" So if you don't want his friendship or anything, then don't talk to him or watch him. Don't just go around making mean journals about someone you barely know.

i only asked him to comment, because without feedback i would have no idea if i was doing something wrong or right, I'm sure if you were an artist and where doing something wrong you would want someone to point it out so you wouldn't have to keep making that same mistake.
