It bugs me a little bit that none of my beloved Melbourne sporting teams have mascots that are animals. We've got the Melbourne Demons, Victorian Bushrangers, Melbourne Ice, Melbourne Victory. Even the rugby teams that I don't take much interest in are the Storm and the Rebels.

However, I had a lightbulb moment: a demon fursuit! I'm still figuring it out, but I can picture cloven hooves, furry red legs, dark blue arms with large red claws on the handpaws, a tail ending in an arrow or trident-shaped point and a head with horns of some variety. Just an idea at this stage. Who knows if I'm bold enough to wear something crazy to the footy? As much as think I will love fursuiting, I think I'll have to try it out to find out. In other news, I spent the afternoon at a pub watching UFC, and the TV was right above three different Big Buck Hunter arcade machines. Despite the premise behind those games, it was very cool (and distracting) to watch a bunch of different animals leaping across the screen. Animals rule.
