Maxx down for a while
well I was doing some speed runs on the paved driveway here in Arkansas, and well all I can say is that the truck stopped suddenly, when I checked it out to see what was wrong, I found out that the left pack was hotter than hell, I pulled it out of the pack, and two of the seven cells had melted the plastic off of them, and now the pack sounds hollow. Needless to say, the pack is completely toast, apparently, those two cells are just bum cells, so I'm gonna send the pack to Traxxas when I get home, and hope the pack from my Slash still has enough to give my Maxx the power to run, but I aint holding my breath, the pack in my Slash is old and has been through more than 150 charges, wish me luck

well got home, tested the old pack, and it has some power to run the truck, but run times are extremely short, so short I'm better off waiting to get a new pack

I know, but there may be a way to bring some of the power back into the old pack, I think that it's beginning to revive a little, I noticed that it lasted longer today in the Slash than it has been for a while, so I may be able to bring the beast out more and more with longer run times, best thing is, I don't have to worry bout burning the motors on the Maxx, and with luck, the old pack may be back to running order
