Others are always afraid of what they don't understand. They make a biased opinion on a well-known sterotype and then milk it for all they can. It is unfortunate indeed.

What they HAVE done is put the whole con in jeopardy by giving the locals the impression that we are monsters. Do you think that people want what those morons described in their town?

So I listened to the whole thing. It is funny though. The even said themselves that they couldn't get into the convention and that the only way was to interveiw out side the hotel or in "room parties"

Well as I said also, Its upseting yet hystericle at the same time. Though that must be because I am a furry I can laugh at it.

Others would probally see it as something more. And haveing that much attention put on an inocent convention could create a backlash in the community thinking its something that it is not.

After all these events isn't 100% private: invintation Only. Anyone "mudane" or "furry" can step in the con and register and be allowed to enter any part of the con they wanted. Its like geting into a theme part or visting the county fair. Everyone is welcome. So for the amout of bs they did mention it really makes it sound wrong..

To target furries in general is one thing indeed but don't you have a feeling that they aren't only targeting the furries but the con its self. I feel they are trying to rally the masses to try and run it out of town. That is the feeling I am geting here.

Now if you want to go about all this peacefull then make a bunch of pickit signs and protest outside the station that they take back all of what they said and apoligize. That is a more peacefull way.

I have written an email to the mother corporation expressing my feelings on the subject and am in the process of talking with my lawyer to see if any of their actions are, in any way, worth starting a petition in pursuit of prosecution.

Wow , you go for it. Seriouly. To me, Bad new, especially when here it is so directly towards FWA. That can definatly get a bad repitation towards the convention. And that is not something that anyone wants. Worst of all since this was all broadcasted over the air. Hundreds of listeners are tuneing in and hearing that. They are probaly all thinking "We don't want that in our town" And all it will be is a Witch Hunt to get the con out of town. That isn't something anyone wants.. That would be the worse case scenerio. And I wouldn't doubt it could go that far. Thus I do think that actions should be made against the station on acounts of Slander and Deformation of Character. and definatly sue for Damages. Becaue I wouldn't doubt a mass boycott of the area and hotel by thouse who have heard the broadcast.

BTW O.o what is your stance with FWA? XD I meet you at MFM soo I didn't know you were with the FWA staff (from what it sounds lol)

I couldn't make it to FWA due to training. But I am well informed by members and staff. And due to my unfortunate experiences in the past I have accrued a collection of legal advisers. My job makes me a very credible and upstanding figure in court. If I can get of the lawyers to bite, we may have a case.

i was the one responsible for reporting the Douche to Security,
he was flat out lying through his teeth and i could tell.

he said they were a small media outlet that covered the night-life of atlanta
including Dragon con, and he wasn't there to de-fame us or our image but to get
a feel for what the nightlife was like at the furry con this weekend.

i could tell the spin-master was top grade douche when he pulled out his i-phone,
only dicks, and idiots have iphones.
