-William Shakespeare Well, I figure I’ll let you all know where I am at the moment. My dad’s recovering and should be discharged from the hospital in 2-3 weeks, at which point he’ll be doing some out patient physical and occupation therapy until he’s back to his old self. He’s recovering faster than the doctors had expected, which is a really good sign.
On the job front, I’m still looking, but now I’ll be less harsh on my qualifications (AKA stop selling myself short) and treating my 4-year degree as two years industry experience.
As to writing, here’s what things look like:

Dragon Magazine Article (Wizards of the Coast) - Progress: Need to polish off some fluff material then formulate a pitch.
The Pewter Dragon Short Story (for fantasy magazine) – Relook at current draft and begin second draft.
New Project: Pathfinder Furrys (Episodic short stories for FA): Characters and world conceptualized, details to be fleshed out. I will have some further details on this project in a future journal.
Anyway, for those who care, that’s what I’ve been up to. Due to a long creative drought and some general lethargy caused by either being in a rut, having a rather sedentary winter, or even the possibility of mild depression (though I’m certainly not qualified to actually diagnose that), several of these projects have progressed like molasses for a while, and I haven’t really been all that active here except for the occasional comment. Thought I’d actually address my watchers and let you know what I’m up to.
