You shouldn't rely your life based on one person. There's plenty of great people out there and friends to be made! That door has and always will be open and available for you to go into if you choose to do so. I'm sorry to hear that a person would do such a thing, and most don't do it without reason. For all we know that person may have got caught up in something, or just wasn't able to get back to you. Time is also a process of healing. Just do your best and look forward, and not behind you.
