Post-FWA Report: Late because I'm lazy!
So FWA was a blast this year, dispite a derpy con-staff and a weird and compact hotel layout. The hotel staff were amazingly FANTASTIC though, I have to say. I got to bring
life-101 with me and show her around her first con, which was really fun. A shout out to my kickass friends and roomies
caustickeet,
mitsukijuran,
bourbon and
xxlxuxnxaxx! We all had alot of fun hanging out together, and discussing the finer things in life, such as cookies and dolphins.
On thursday, me Keet and Ria got to check out Little Five Points for some boss threads and dank glass. After that little adventure we checked into our room, chilled for a while after scoping out the con floor and then made off for dinner with
Glowsheep,
yoshii and company at a Japanese restaurant. Overall, an enjoyable day!
Friday started earlyish with a trip to the Georgia Aquarium with Ria, since its completely retarded to come within a mile of the largest aquarium in the entire world and not go to see it! After that a day in artist alley ensued, with a dip in the pool and hot tub, and then more arting and mingling! Upon derping around for some amount of time, I founded the Hall of Hank on the FWA bullitin board. I've collected the drawings from everyone who participated, and thanks! This turned into a really intresting project! "Checking the Hank Hill Board" became a common activity among my circle of friends at this FWA.
Saturday started off in the alley with Bourbon. I got most of my commissions on saturday and got to meet some awesome peeps like
MissBunnyBoo and
Glennjam. and I got to see some awesome friends again like:
Mystee,
grit-careless,
riff_hyena and
drummingraccoon! There was much booze, legal tobacco product, haagen-dazs icecream bars and marshmellows to be had! We donned our dandy duds for a night in costume complete with dancing, chatting, fursuit parading, and arting well into the wee hours of the morning. Thanks to everyone who made it a great day!
Sunday was the sad farewell day, as we couldnt stay past 3. After saying goodbye to everyone, including
animecat and
spiffy_fox_kili. The drive home was long and boring. ;-; But next year I'll be right in town for FWA, so i could take Marta there if I wanted. =D Hooray!
For everyone I missed, or didn't get a chance to see, I'M TOTALLY BUMMED. Please talk to me moar, or come see me at RCFM, dammit!
As for the fate of the Hall of Hank, I will be posting a scanned compilation soon! To tide you over, here's a shot of the board as I started it off:

Heheh, I will. It's not often that there's a furry con that's only a 20 min drive from home!
