Art-Dump, and A Sadly Outdated Holiday

Kyoo no tema wa kore desu....
FIRST: I'm going through old boxes crammed full of old drawings & stuff I've done, from the 90's to 2008. I'll be posting most of it to scraps, and mostly for my own jollies. Deal with it.
Also, I'm a little concerned with how this country is losing its appreciation for its cultural heritage. The siren-call of the internets has supplanted many things that we as a nation used to value and treasure, such as our national holidays.
With this in mind, I'd like to wish everyone a heartfelt Happy Swing a Dead Weasel Day!
Our country was founded on dead weasel swinging -- why, Benjamin Franklin could swing 10 in one hand alone! Nowadays it's rare to see anyone swinging even a weasel tail, much less a whole weasel (and even then, they're only using plastic line). No longer do knowledgeable men sit on porches, pontificating over the merits of sinew versus hemp cording or twine or rope, while the children play quietly at their feet, reverently listening to a discourse they have neither the privilege nor experience to partake on.
Let it not be forgot that the measure of a man is how many weasels he can swing.
