Seriously Shocked!

I am deeply in shock at the moment.
i was heading down the beach with my brother and two sisters along with my two pet dogs for a fun afternoon, when we reached town at the traffic lights, and that is when the most shocking moment came.
A baby seagull wondered into the road and was helpless to fly away as a speeding car came whizzing along and ran straight over the porr thing right next to my car, the sounds of the baby seagulls bones breaking as well as it;s neck sent a shock throuhg all of us as well as those who also witnessed this sickening act form the shop doorways, i was about to burst into tears just seeing it move it's had, and at the last moment before passing away, it was then run over by another speeding motorist.
i can see images of it in my head, and it has just shocked me so much....

Personally I reckon that all drivers should have their driving re tested every few years, say 10 or so, see if they are still obeying the highway code etc.
I heard about a young lady who took her driving test, and strangely came across a dead cow in the road, she slowed down, and crossed onto the other side of the road to go around it.
At the end of the test, she failed. The reason was that she deliberately avoided the struck animal. The Highway Code states you must pass over any kind of dead carcass.
I mean come on.. a bloody cow? =/
