I was thinking about doing something similar only with an Alomomola, because of those crazy defenses.
A friend traded my a Houndour, so I'm thinking about leveling that fucker up and then demolishing the E4's assholes.

That's pretty much the definition of cheating, actually. Anyways, Scrafty can take out 3/4 of the Elite 4 on its own. Raise one up and totally kick ass.

But wow that sucks, I know what you mean, some I'm keeping around for the sake of balance but even so, I noticed that what got it working for me was adding some TM's, like Joltik was seriously sucking the life outta me, then I added Volt Switch along with a Magnet, fixed it up pretty good and got a nice balance of Exp. distribution :D

I love, love, love the reusable TMs in this game! One of my favorite aspects that needed to be done since Gen 1.
(Although I'm still pissed about the lack of Pokemon following me around! :<)
