I really hope they do RSE remakes! That was my favorite region (And my first pokemon game I had to myself and didn't have to share) the first I ever played without having the strategy guide and looking ahead, or knowing any of the pokemon.

I loved the Dive HM so much, I had a blast going under water and finding shards and hidden places!

LOL yes! I hated diving to find that one city though. I ALWAYS dived in the wrong places and circled around for hours, getting caught by pokemon trying to find the dang cave. XD Yes! The ash furniture was so cool! Had to pimp out my hide out D: ( and now you see in later games how you don't have to work to collect ash orz.) I also remember being stuck at the one part where you surf to the next part of the region. @_@; I didn't know I had to surf, no one told me.
Oh man and going into the cave place to find Kyogre , the music change, and just feeling SO awesome for getting there, saving after every battle XD.

I loved those hideouts! That was my favorite part- i loved getting the different trees and plushies..

My hideout was strategically placed before Lilycove. I'll tell you the location, because no one has ever EVER seen it before.
It's a pile of leaves with like some berry dirt in front of a little lake. It's near the grass where all the Absol where found, because I thought that the native Pokemon would be your friends and protect your base... :3c

not a mod. in the original rby, if you change your trainers name to gca(all lower case) and go to the begining grassy area, you can find a ghost that plays the lavender town music even creepier and slideshow of japaneze nazi human experiments and scary crap like that.
in the japaneze version, you didnt need a special name and you had a 1 in 3 chance of finding it. the worst part is the kids that killed themselfs did so by what they saw in the slideshow.

I watched the videos that came up and from what I can see thats obviously a hoax. Why they would even install photos like that into the game is beyond me, and the fact that those pictures are off like google :v and its being played on a program that many hacks are played on.. I just dont buy it. However it has spiked my interest into UNIT 731 o3o;

the guy who programed it made sure it was in the game, then went home, wrote 'come follow me' over and over on his walls in his own blood and killed himself. like i said, scary pokemon stuff. i tried finding it but my gameboy died when i selected my starter.

johnny1974 showed it to me when i saw him earlier. i didnt catch the website names, go ask him. and after i showed another friend of mine, he went and found the damn thing, its legit.

OKAY. So I looked it up and what I read was that it wasn't the images that made kids kill themselves
(which is weird because images haven't made me want to commit suicide >O> maybe throw up but yeah)

Either way; either story ; both are considerably disturbing hack or no hack. Though every site I looked up on the Unit 731 had both sides of 'it's fake!' and 'That's creepy! I can't believe that happened'. If it were true I'm positive there would have been a statement I could have found from Nintendo stating apologizes and such or at least articles about the 'children' who commited suicide. And a known recall of all the original games because obviously they can't have people owning the 'games' with those 'images'.

okay, the emulator that you saw in the vid was an updated version of the 731 pokemon so the images could be seen better(dont understand why you'ld want to*shudders*). in the original they werent that detailed.

Yeah. D: And all that music did was just give me a head ache.. Not kill myself. XD though I did see -yet another- article and read it BUT this one began with (Some information is not factual) which should have been a dead 'its fake' give away but I read and it was interesting. Apparently the 'guy' who installed those images and made the original Lavender town theme song programmed it a way he had learned affected people from his 'father' who used to work for Unit 731. With the music he wanted to create a powerful army or something from the children who would play pokemon. (doesn't go into detail really about the images other then they were there and probably pictures he or his father had taken.) Well he put the original lavender town music on a loop and put headphones on his son, and the wife says that the son when woke up having listened to the music in his sleep, took a knife and carved the symbols for 'empire' into his chest then ran after car which spooked the driver into hitting him causing his demise. The father seeing what had happened and his plan had failed hung himself outside of their house with a note to his wife of his intentions, and thats how she knew he had done it and her and game freak were about to take the music and images out. Now it listed cases too on children who died from the Lavender town music , however it wasn't direct suicide. Alot of the side effects where migranes, deafness, lost consciousness, mental illness and then all resulted later down the road in killing themselves. :v
