Traces are "art", yes. They are other people's art. We have given you permission to post your traces given that you had the proper permission from the artists but you did not comply. We tried to work with you, find a compromise, but instead you threatened us.

Copying Disney art line-for-line is not acceptable. It is outright theft. Our decision stands.

I told you to take down the images you traced that you did not have permission to repost. You still have not done that.

Then they all have to come down, cause my 5 year old never asked either to draw pics, who ever calls companied to ask persmission to draw there characters, so somple minded, they usually call you first.

Why Do all the other people that post porn and other stuff of other company characters like pokemon and digimon and bowser can keep there stuff up, cause i know for a huge fact they never got permission to draw there characters in porn and such. I know this has nothing on getting permission on showing the art of the characters, it is the fact you hate trace artists, period, just ammit it.

Cause this is what i was working toward in my art, if you look at a comic book and look at the listings of the artist, "inker", and colorist, means someone gets paid to ink (trace) the artists drawing to finalize it to be colored, this is always the focus of my traces is to become a better inker, plain and simple, but people like you can't get past the "Tracing is Cheating" or "Tracing is Copyright Violation" to realize there are real jobs out there that pay people to "Trace Ink" a pic or an animation Still to be put on a "Animation Cell" and never call it any major fuss.

I always wanted to be a part of a comic inking or animation transfer position and it takes practice and the heart, and that is why i posted my work to get the feed back from people, to how i am doing toward that goal, but this is what i get served in my practice toaward maybe a real job for I can Go For and love doing.

This is not about fanart. This is about TRACING art, aka theft. If you can't see that difference than there is not much than can be done.

An yes, there are real jobs as inkers and artists. I've an art degreed, worked as a professional animator on a number of TV shows and other project. If you want to trace and ink people's work, that's fine. Have their permission before you post it.

I don't care if you're thinking original characters or doing fanart. I do care if you're tracing established pieces of art line-for-line and ripping it off.

And note: what you post on your own site? That's completely up to you. Here, we attempt to respect artists and their wishes. There are several Disney animators within the fandom who would disagree that outright tracing isn't art theft.

The issues with fanart are one thing. Tracing is not fanart.

First i did not trace the whole pic, all i drew is the part i like, so it is not a full copy.

Traces are not your work.

Let's put it this way: I can trace Tony the Tiger on the front of a cereal box, and that would NOT be my work. All the work is done by the original artist. All I would be doing is copying it without his permission, illegally. I am not laying out the image. I am not planning it. I am not creating the character. None of that creative process is my own and it is wrong.

I was not claiming ever that i was drawing the picture, i only traced the pic to seperate what i love and to preserve it how i love it and saw of the pic, and did i ever argue the fact of i drew the pic or i did the picture, all i am argueing the fact is Tracing is an art form as same as free hand, it is done different and the trace will always be different because it is only black and white and the pics on the animation are always color and i turn certain dark colors straight to black for the shadow look, so it is not a straight trace, it is my full interpete version, so there are major differences.

Tracing is never an art form. I'm sorry you don't see this.

Then Tell that to Animators Cell Transfer people and the Inker that Inks the Comics After the artist cause i talked to many at comic shows, inking is and art and inking is done by tracing out the pencil lines. I am trying to get better at inking and it does require tracing to do it, cause all my traces were done with only a permanant marker, so there is no room for error or correction, thats how good i got so i can apply for an inking position in a animation studio or Comic Company.

So Tell those professionals in comics and animation that there work is not an ART!

You should try this:

Next time you see a prorn art of a copyrighted character, forward the URL to the respective owner.

If it's a pokémon porn, forward it to Nintendo.
If it's Tony's porn, then warn Kelog (or general mills, the company seem to have different distributor depending of the country).

After all, we got to apply the law fairly, no? No copyright violation mean no copyright violation at all.
