Moving... Again.

What if you were livin' yours,
Instead of hatin' mine?
So.
I'm being forced to move, again.
We've only lived here for like.. what, 3-4 months?
Our landlord, the guy who lives in the downstairs of this house, is pissed because apparently we use too much electricity. (even though we signed a contract saying that utilities were included in our rent, and we would also -always- have our own parking spot in the driveway.)
But now suddenly he wants to tack another 200$ on our rent because of the electricity. And has disallowed my mom from parking in the driveway.
He also goes on to say that during the summer, there will be construction on the road starting every day at 7am. Which means she wont be able to park in the street, either.
He is pretty much trying to chase us off.
So we're going to try to find another place to live. But the pickings are scarce, and we're deciding not to pay our rent this month, and hopefully find a new place by the end of April.
I hope this works out. This guy really kind of scares me, and I've had so much trouble with invading landlords in the past. (the kind that think they can just waltz into your place whenever they want to just because they have the key.)
If it's in the contract, legally he shouldn't be able to do that.

We follow all his rules. Especially the "no smoking" rule. My mom smokes out on the balcony, but he still harped her, for no reason.
Another time, I accidentally blew the fuse, twice. (the wiring in this old house is soooo bad, and our microwave isn't the best.)
The second time it happened, he yelled at me and slammed the door in my face.
HOW DOES HE EVEN GET THE BALLS TO-
Wouldn't some of that be considered harassment?
So we're not going to pay the rent.
There isn't much he could do about it.
I think you'd get about a month and a half to move out.
After that time passes, it's like... we week or something before they can actually force you out.
What a dickhole. You should put eggs in the vents before you leave.
That would have been great as well!
but i think regardless movings sounding like the very best option for you, and your mother. this guy sounds like sooner or later he will start just appering in your house probably in your bedroom type of creeper! >.<;
