Snakes need new home!
So when my family visited, my sister brought up three snakes (on the insistence of my mother) for me to take care of. At first I was intent on actually keeping them, but it seems my cat Hallie is utterly TERRIFIED of them. After a startle involving me holding the ball python and her not knowing it, she's now skittish to come anywhere near where the tank WAS (I had to hide them in the office), and I can't take them out any more. Hallie is my baby and I won't keep anything around that makes her so stressed she changes her behavior like this and upsets her. She doesn't even want to get on the couch any more.
Before anyone calls me out for being irresponsible for taking them to begin with, I took them because my sister was no longer caring for them, and if I can't re-home them I fully intend on keeping them (out of Hallie's area) and taking good care of them. I just won't be able to give them the human interaction they need, and would rather see them in a loving home than in a place they can't even leave their cage for more than a cleaning.
My sister brought two corn snakes and a ball python. They currently share a tank (not my idea, thank you) and are content to just hide in their bedding all day. I can provide pictures if you like, but I don't plan on taking them out unless requested so I don't upset Hallie any more.
If you're in the Atlanta-ish area and are interested, please let me know! Or help spread the word to reptile lovers out there. If you can take all three I'll throw in the tank too (it's cracked, but repaired and has a locking screen lid). Thank you!

*shudders* VERY soon.
