What if you were livin' yours,
Instead of hatin' mine?
More about my current living situation.
So as I was leaving for work today, the landlord approached us, yelling and chewing us out of course.
Demanding that we pay rent AND the 300$+ for utilities (because apparently, we owe him 300$ in utilities now.)
My mom started getting defensive, telling him that not once did he bother to tell us that we were running up a big utility bill. (because we never actually see the utility bills.)
His response to that was "I am not a fucking babysitter". Seriously, guy?
You are a -LANDLORD- meaning it is your fucking -JOB- to tell your tenants if they are doing something wrong.
So now apparently he wants to take us to court, because we're not going to pay rent.
AND, we are moving -THIS WEEKEND-, which means I have to start packing shit tomorrow.
So, things are going to be extremely hectic and disorganized for me for a while.
I'm sorry, to the people I owe commissions to.

Your soon-to-be ex-landlord sounds like a swell guy. Good luck if you do go to court, and good luck anyway if you don't. :<
Being a law student.. dear.. you will WIN your case.. I have to read case briefs like this day in and day out. he is just setting himself up for a nice spot in a state jail
