Highest voted entry wins 50.00 dollars (USD)!

The turnout for this contest has wildly exceeded my expectations.  You all rock!

A second place prize of $50 is being offered as a way of saying thanks!

Second place details:
-Decided by vote!
-All FA members, that have had an account registered since March 1st, are eligible to vote
-Second place winner can not be the first place winner (if that happens, second highest tally wins)
-One vote per FA account
-I will continue to post submissions all the way up to second place tallying, but it'd be best to submit by April 15th (9pm CST)
-Second place voting is open immediately, but there will likely be additional submissions up to April 15th
-Submit a vote by responding to this journal with a statement like "I vote for artist ____"
-You can change your elected favorite, but please hide your old vote

Second place prize details:
-Tallying will occur April 20th at midnight CST!
-Winning artist will be announced April 21th around lunch (noon CST +-2hrs)
-Payment will be dispersed April 21st via Paypal (can pay by check if requested)

I really don't mean to come across as annoying, but don't you think that you should trash this journal, and wait to start voting for when all the submissions are in? It seems a little backwards to start voting now, and then anyone who turns it in later, but still before the deadline, ends up being punished, essentially. I'm not saying this just because I happen to be one of those people who just turned theirs in; I would feel this way regardless. In the end, it is your contest, and your money, so do what you see fit. But please bear this in mind while making your decision.

I am surprised to see so many votes this early too. I will update the above description to explain that anyone can change their vote (with the old vote preferably being hidden). This compromise isn't necessarily the cleanest solution (like rebooting the journal), but consider that the folks who voted already are probably set in their decision. I didn't really say FA members couldn't vote before the 16th, so I'd rather not retroactively apply rules.

It appears as though people are getting bands of friends together to vote for their submission rather than people actually looking through them all :/ just... odd that a lot of the votes for the same person are coming in chunks like that...

however looking through them all, I would have to say I LOVE snoot's entry. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5583967 it's unique and just adorable<3 however I doubt that buddy would weigh 150 pounds :b
