Scraps Dump, and I Love Produce

Kyoo no tema wa kore desu....
I've been very bad, taken a hiatus of sorts from doing arts in favor of other things like job search & getting all that crap from storage organized. So, I'm uploading some more of my old stuff into scraps, deal with it.
If I'm lucky, I only get online maybe 1-2 days out of the week. I think last time I was online was over 7 days ago. So yes, when I do get online I have a tendency to 'spam' by uploading a mess of stuff. I realize it would be easier to post 1-2 things a day, but I don't have that luxury. Deal with it.
Thanks to being on food stamps, I got a crapton of fresh produce. DAMN, but I love me my fruits & veggies!! I've blown almost the whole month's allotment on produce & some dairy. I have a few bucks left for meat, but right now I'm happily scarfing down broccoli & cauliflower & cabbage & cheese & apples & garlic & asparagus & cantaloupe & a little bit of pasta & taters & rice & spinach & walnuts & almonds and so on. Since I only lost basil to the winter freezes, I'm ecstatically cooking mostly-veggie dishes with fresh herbs. And I have my kitchen stuff (mostly) unpacked, so I can actually do some real cooking now!
I've also fallen in love with green tea. I grew up hating tea, since my mother prefers hers weak and unsweetened & i figured all tea was like that. But I love me some green tea with fruit flavors (like pomegranate or mango). I use honey for a sweetener. It's awesome.
Never fear, I'll be diving back into my arts with a vengeance pretty darned soon.
