One last Finger.

"Complications arose, ensued, were overcome."
One last finger resting on the trigger,
One more tear to quench the dirt,
One more hollow shrieking scream
To render these feelings of mine inert.
One last message to the loved ones,
One last word to the best of the friends
One more praise for all their progress,
Where they move on, my journey ends.
Slowly I'll fade into oblivion.
This is where I best belong.
I'll push my finger and pull the trigger,
And so, my friends, I say so long.
