MN has a lot of bugs in the summer.
It gets hot and muggy in the summer, too.
There are a lot of golf courses.
There's a lot of lakes, and a lot of fishing.
There are a lot of cornfields

I live in South Eastern Minnesota in a town called Red Wing and I love it here. We have a sister city in Japan named Ikata:

Heavy Snow?
-Some years we get heavy snow, other years we get less.

Traffic systems?
-I live an hour away from the Twin Cities, so I'm not that familiar with public transit but from all the buses I've had to dodge over the years, I would say it is pretty good.

Lively or calm?
-Where I live it is very calm. I live in a small town of 14,000 people so traffic is light. In the urban areas it can be lively and stressful but not that much.

Famous attractions?
-Renaissance Festival in the fall, several nice casinos, Mall of America, Ely Wolf center, Port of Duluth, Mayo clinic (famous at least, not much of an attraction)

Anything not good?
-Climate in Minnesota runs the gambit. It can get very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter.

The snow is usually gone by the end of March. We did get snow this last week but it melted shortly afterward.
