I prefer the new show xD

You can't tell them apart? Honestly? They are so easy to tell apart based on their cutie marks, mane and body color, not to mention the attitude. You just prefer the old show (which was more girly than this); this one's more for a broader audience. X3

nah. i can tell the purple one from the orange one, stuff like that. i just can't tell who's who, or who's supposed to be who. >.>; like, is Ember still there? or, what about Firefly? i know which one's Twilight, since she's most popular, along with Applejack.

Well the thing is, this is a new generation, not all of the old ponies are there, and if they are, they're different (like Pinkie Pie for instance)

This is solely based on personal taste, but without a doubt, the new show has been much of a bigger success than any of the previous ones (to the point of making all people of both genders love it a whole lot), must be the fact the animation is in charge of the same person who did "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" and "The Powerpuff Girls", she also worked on "Samurai Jack" and "Dexter's Laboratory", shows that belonged to her husband.

and, for me, Derpy doesn't mean 'looks like the derpy mlp". derpy, to me, means anything i deem 'stupid or stupid-looking'. :d so~ yeah...
