Hello all you fuzzbuts and scaletails. Your friendly neighbourhood fire dragoness here again!
So I have this friend right.
Brunalli the argonian. He had his ears perked looking for comissions when he stumbled upon this: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2293330/
And I thought to myself, "God I really need to get a special picture for my mate", the lovely Y'zon or
orangebluez as you all would know him. So I enter the auction with the expectation of paying 50 minimum, 150 if people got interested. 200 was like the far end. It wasn't my limit, but after 200 I'd be rethinking my commitment.
It cost me $360. These people really wanted that damn picture. One dude jumped the second slot all the way up to $400. Thankfully since Australia kicks ass right now, $360 turned into $333, but still... this is going to be the most expensive single piece of dragon porn on my collection. But it's going to be the best. You wanna know why? Well you're going to have to wait! Because it's a present for Y'zon and he has no idea what I'm going put on it. And so none of you are going to know because the sneaky blue lizard is watching my FA page.
But I'll keep you updated on what's happening, with as much information as I can provide at the time. I still want a surprise for my lizard-friend, even though he guessed what it was anyway... Damn smart argonians...

Let me preface by saying sorry for contributing to the the financial inconvenience of that auction, I hadn't anticipated on going that high either... but I digress. I'm "the $400 guy", actually known as Omega – I live in Sydney.
I thought I'd drop you a line after reading your post. I actually thought that the picture would be for brunalli but I guess it's for you and orangebluez now. Tojo and Curio are amazing artists and despite the expense it should be worth every cent.
Thankfully due to the weird rules it turned out to be $360.
I guess I just wanted to apologise for my contribution to the bid war so to speak.
I have added yourself, Brunalli and Y'zon to my watch list. I hope you don't mind, and I'll more than happily delete all of you should you request it. I sincerely hope your picture turns out to be as amazing as it ought to be, and I know it will be.

Yes, it was quite a war at the end of it. I was asking Brunalli to bid a little higher as well as hoping that $360 would be enough. I feared some punk running in at the last second and outbidding me. But heh, I have the commission.
Now I get to play with all the ideas that I can have in the picture. But of course I can't post a hint of anything on here because Y'zon will catch gist of it and my surprise will be up. He might know that he's getting a picture, and he might know what of, but he's not going to see it until it's ready!
But yeah, I'm so excited to start working on it. I can't wait to see the first sketch!
