Half and half, its is good and yet bad. In some ways, there are things out in the World that some innocent minds should be subjected to because then, they become even more sheltered...and add to the growing populace of negative individuals who hate all over certain interests of groups of individuals. And then again, the bad half is that the more sheltered you are, the more likely someone is to make you crack that tight nutted shell and corrupt you anyway. But it also is bad in a way to be sheltered because how are you suppose to know what to avoid in the Real World, when its around you ALL THE FREAKING TIME.

Either way, sheltering an individual, has its repercussions of them finding out the worst possible way about things they are sheltered from and then at the same time, it is good at times because there are just some things that a certain human mind isn't mean to see or experience.
At least that's my view point.

Oh! Well, being ignorant isn't always good like, being ignorant of oncoming traffic is not a good thing however being ignorant of perhaps of a situation that doesn't involve you, then it's good. So, to me it seems like there are many pros and cons but ultimately, the cons outweigh the pros.

Everything is in the eye of the beholder. So every situation could be different. For me I have a natural curiosity towards somethings. Yet somethings I have no interest in. So for everyone its going to be how they live their life. Cause you never know if you are living in ignorance blissfully until you you realize it. Then its too late to go back.

It's not particularly good to be sheltered, in my opinion. :P

I wish I was ignorant to a lot of things, but it never solves anything. So I think ignorance is bliss, but very short lived.

It's debatable - depends entirely on what exactly is being sheltered from whom.
