I feel like people get them once they start shuffling since they do in some ways, add onto the illusion that you're gliding across the floor.

I honestly think you really don't need them for shuffling. I think it depends on the person and how active in the community they are. For myself, I'm more active in the hip hop community so I don't tend to go to raves to shuffle but when I do, I do and I don't own a pair of Phats. As a personal goal, I'd like to get really good at shuffling and then invest if I'm active like going to raves :D! CUZ then they'll be used and loved <3 And not just taken out only to... Cons! A lot of furries wear tripp pants cause it's a trend XP

BUT I also think they look so cooooool. If you own a pair I will hide underneath your pants legs.
