so basically i've been at this for over 4 hours since last night. my computer is rather old, it's a 2005 hp. so it's constantly saying low disc space, so i went and deleted things i never use, or so i thought i never used. apparently i accidentally deleted a component that my hp psc 1315v needs to recognize itself so i figured, "okay, i accidentally un-installed this i'll un-install everything and re-install it." well apparently not. every time i re-install it, whether it be the basic software, or the full-program with all the extras, nothing works. it always says it's installed and everything should work properly, but there's no icons, nothing for me to click on, and if there is an icon it says when i click it, it says that the skin doesn't exist? i guess i un-installed too much...i honestly have no idea what's wrong or what i did. i guess i deleted HPZc3212.DLL by accident, so i re-downloaded it and i'm still having problems...i also do not have the original software disc. i'm just downloading the software from the hp site.
i'm usually pretty good with fixing simplistic problems on my own, but i can't figure out what to do.
can anyone help me?
