"Gender" and "sex" are very different terms when it comes to discussing either. Gotta keep this in mind to avoid a lot of anger in the future, oh yep.
You're completely right about looking at it from a scientific point of view and anyone who felt insulted by your statements is just emotional and overreacting, don't let it get to you.
I' not bothered about the fact that I have insulted them, since they know it wasn't my intention at all, and they should (imo), pull strength from that. What *does* bother me is the fact that I have saddened Cherri. I feel like I must make amends for that, somehow.
