You took WAY more flak in that post than you deserved, and after reading through it, for what it's worth, I would've gladly jumped to your defense if I didn't discover it a day late when all the wounds are already dug and starting to heal.

You're completely right about looking at it from a scientific point of view and anyone who felt insulted by your statements is just emotional and overreacting, don't let it get to you.

Well, it is their good right to be angry with me, but I do wish they would've had the capability of taking a step back and look at my words from a... less personal point of view.

I' not bothered about the fact that I have insulted them, since they know it wasn't my intention at all, and they should (imo), pull strength from that. What *does* bother me is the fact that I have saddened Cherri. I feel like I must make amends for that, somehow.

Cherri is a wonderful and understanding person. Just give her a cookie and she'll be feeling better, I'm sure. :)
