The demonstration brews went well, as did the homebrews we were offering patrons to sample. The store manager said they sold a lot of homebrew supplies that day.

The two demonstration brews that had been planned both started around noonish (I didn't get there until about 1:30), and by about 2:30 they were essentially done. Since we were there until 5pm and had all the equipment there and ready, we made an on-the-spot decision to do one more batch. I paid for the kit, and my brother started it while I made a trip home for my glass carboy. I now have a porter fermenting in the carboy in my kitchen.

A very successful day. We'll see if any new members show up at the next club meeting.
