btw Anthrocon coming up in a bit less than a month.We have done a couple meetups in the past for early dinner at Sharp Edge on Penn,nr conv ctr. We got 3 one year and about 5 the next (and when I showed up after staying slightly long at a panel, a couple of the furs were getting ready ro head out. Not sure if we should bother; busy scheds but who knows? If you have transportation and some time before or after the Con I'd suggest Church Brewworks in Lawrenceville section and Wm Penn Brewery on northside across from Heinz plant. Not necessarily for Brewfurs meet but just to try food and beer there at your leisure. I will be in area July 6-15 or so

There is another Hofbrauhaus in Rosemont, IL within walking distance of the Midwest FurFest hotel. I haven't tried to plan a brewfurs outing from MFF yet, and it seems even less likely I'll have time now that I'm track lead for Writing and Literature.

I went to the Hofbrauhaus last year just after the Con, a few hrs before I had to fly back, not too bad. Someone who I remember from taking a bus tour of Pittsburgh was there having a beer at the bar and talking about the furries and I said "remember me? I took your tour last yr and said I was one..." and oh yeah he remembered me.

(For those of legal age and please drink responsibly) Beer fans,past couple years we at Brewfurs at Furaffinity have held an informal get together the Fri of the Con around 4:30 or 5p at Sharp Edge on Penn...Penn Ave a couple blocks from conv ctr;same side as August Henry's.mwalimu isn't making AC this yr but I will again..let me know if interested.We don't anticipate having to reserve tho..usually we're near the front.Look for the drunk raccoon.
