Help fight this INSANE anti-gay law!

Apparently in Tennessee they are passing a law that says if a gay student commits suicide, and a teacher KNOWS about it, they don't have to say anything. Also, that they are trying to make it illegal for teachers to teach about gay people and gay law. WTF?!?! Like the video on FckH8.com's website and they will donate money (up to $25,000) towards the fight against this unjust law!!

Spread the word! It's insane that acceptance is still being crushed for certain people. This is the 21st century, the age of information and technology. The only people who should not be accepted are the bigots who are trying to get this law passed.

My only problem, aside from the anti-gay people in the first place, are a few of my friends. Their standpoint is "If you're gay, it's whatever. Just don't force it on me." And that's fine. It's when I post this on my FB and they're all "There shouldn't be a gay curriculum and this is stupid. Let people bitch and we'll forget about it in 2 days."
I know I'm not talking about a gay curriculum. I'm talking about when kids are bullied to death and no one reports it. Or it's not talked about, and why it's a bad thing. Sometimes I wish my friends didn't just brush things off as "The way they teach public schools here is how they teach everywhere."
We grew up in the north where it's not discussed. I know I don't know how Bible Belt states deal with the issue. And I'd like to prevent any hatred in case it is brought up down there.
It really is unfortunate that people still are not over all this stuff by now and are seriously acting like people with different personality, choices, or preferences are a different race completely...
