And its only a very small movement at that - unless it appeals to policy makers nothing will happen and it'll only appeal to policy makers if the public feel a change would be good. Otherwise, the changes take place solely on the actual written policy (like the legislation to change 'destroy' to 'euthanise') - the legal language changes but it won't change how people talk. I won't say about it haing an affect or effect though - unlike they're and their and your and you're, the words have become mostly synonymous (even though one causes the other and their meanings get muddled up far easier) but last time I got jumped on by a guy with nothing better to do.
