Thoughts for FA:U

I am actually kinda nervous. I have never been to a big furry convention. I only know about 6 furries personally. In all honesty, I don't think I have fully accepted furdom(I think I am using the wrong term). I used to hang around with the haters, people who hated furries. But I always felt like the bridge. I hung out with anyone, regardless of who they liked. When I played Second Life, people would troll the furries and I would just be sitting there in my robot avatar.
Back to the point though. I may act like a puppy around
Demon2Fox but I don't think I have accepted it. She finds it cute and that is why I keep acting like that. I am just unsure of what to do. I have 3 fursonas, each representing different aspects of my personality:
The Bat, Ivan represents anger, rage, and the Id.
The German Shepherd, Benjamin, represents thought, rationality, and the Superego
The Husky(or the Golden Husky as Demon2Fox labeled me as) represents reality, existence and the ego.
Is it possible that I am going about this the wrong way? I always thought that people picked their fursonas based on their personalities. But I see people who pick animals at random, that don't even match up, or just create chimeras, like a friend of mine. He has created a fursona that is a mix between an aye-aye, crow, snake, goat and other things. I don't really think I get it yet. But hopefully at FA:U I will.

there are plenty of ways to go about it, some choose their fursonas based on their personalities, some choose their fursonas out of convenience, some choose their fursonas at random..everyone has their ways of looking at it dude. You're fine.. =:^__^:=

I have created my 6 part chimera because those are my favorite animals and they all do resonate within me, they are embodiments of me. I just couldn't contain myself to one animal though, and I do have them separate at times, but when they're all combined, it's..it's just me. It's really hard to explain honestly, they just are the full expression of me when combined. I'm a complex little critter with so many parts to him, I'm seen as something hideous when first known but I grow on others....and that is just how it is with me.
