So, I just recently purchased the HBO channels for myself. Basically, I work on my commissions during the late night hours and I like having movies play in the back so i cna casually listen and its a bit more engaging than just music. Plus i dont waste time filtering around to find a song a like etc.

Now...I always knew HBO showed sexy kind of things on its shows....whta I didnt relaize was that it shows porn movies. It was funny how i stumbled across this since I was listening to a movie beforehand and then a porno comes on. The only reason i looked up was that the music was so campya nd the acting was just awful. i'm thinking, "what the hell am I paying good hard earned money for?!" And then bam...boobies...orange spray-tan boobies.

I was going to chnage it btu my god...the campiness had me engaged! I could not stop laughing! Two people having sex on a lazy-susan table -COMDEDY GOLD!!!! Plus you gotta love the awful titles altered from successful movie titles! So I ended up seeign a few over the course of a few nights...and I started to notice something...

Now...these are clearly porn films...showing the act..but...they go to such great lengths to hide things. Like...arms are purposefull placed so you dont see penetration and even goign so far for the girl to cover her crotch so you wont see ehr folds when she starts walking! I think that's pretty weird...i mean...it's a porno...and it's late enough that kids shouldnt really stumble on it unless they're lookign for it...and if they are...they could find better stuff far easier online...for free! And I came across one where they did the same things but they showed him fully nude in other scenes...like they had him just layign out with his penis clealry showing. It wanst erect but still his penis was right there and they even showed his ball sac kinda flopign around during a few scenes.

Why is this done? Is it some rule that a penis in a vagina can't be shown? If anyone could clear this up it would seriosuly clear the fog in my brain. I seriosuly dont see how this is effective...they're going to such effort to not show stuff ina movie ABOUT showing stuff! It's like completely defeatign the idea of a porno and I cant understand why! It's really funny to me! hahhaa!

I know one thing for sure: they don't show the guy's penis when it's erect because he uses a dildo when they have sex. Can't risk the actor getting pregnant~

I was suspicious that they werent really doing anythign at points. Considering I know anatomy pretty well and certain positions dont have things lined up properly. Still kudos to a man who cna grind against a nakes ...decent looking...female and not get excited.....chances are the actor might be gay. lol

That sound slike a really dodgy 'for sure'. After all, a girl who's acting at porn can simply get an operation and be safe, wich would render that idea useless... and would allow to show more, making better movies and more money...

Hehe, Shen man, I dunno if they have such shows where you at. But down here, pornos are seriously a comedy. The acting is so cheesy and the scenes transit so much, you dunno if they having sex or just rubbing against each other. I admit, a very VERY few are actually good.

As for that operation thing you mentioned, not a chance. I'm sure the actors just do their job and fake sex. They may be wanting to have kids with others. Yes... porn actors COULD be married/seeing someone else. Some partners are VERY generous.

I'm kinda on the fence about it because while some scenes look completley fake there are others that...are hard to fake and you do catch little glimses of things that hint it at being real. It's things liek that that get me curiosu about it.

As for operations, i think it depends on the person. Soem people just do jobs for money, others live their job as a passion.

Reading this journal has brought back some memories when of when I was younger. I used to stay up late and catch a movie like this on HBO or Cinemax. The thing is, I was wondering the same thing back then as well. This was before I learned the difference between soft core and hard core. Before the internet became a big thing, most would usually just take what they could get. At the time cable companies were offering 24 hour porn channels at a very unreasonable rate, but for those would couldn't afford it or weren't old enough to order it had to stick with softcore cable porn and use our imagination. Looking back at these movies now, especially with what you can access with the internet, movies like that are really laughable.

I just figured porn was porn. Sex is one of those thigns that it seems pointless to be subtle about it...if you're actually showing it. But than again I guess it makes sense for the money factor. HBO isnt expensive really. It's quite doable on any salary...whereas I assume the porn channels with intense stuff are ridiculous. Even the movie rental is pretty outrageous when you think about it....but it's just all for convenience.

It makes me giggle because i imagine how many times they probabaly had to redo stuff to amke sure everythign was in proper place. It's like American edited Dragon ball z and it's super convenient bush placements. lol

While lots of countries allow porn to be televised, there are still obscenity and indecency laws the studios have to adhere to. That means they might be able to show two people having penetrative sex, but they can't show an erection or close-up details of ladyparts.

I'm guessing you're in the US, which does not really have a set legal definition for what counts as obscenity. But, the people who make those movies might just be avoiding the things that people have tried to claim are obscene.

I am in the US so i figured it was something like that. But it seems like the effort they put into not showing stuff seems like a lot more work than just making the porno. It still seems weird though...since it's on chnacels one has to order and pay for special and its at an hour most people sleep at unless thye wnat said things. Considering the violence and issues shows can get away with these days, especially on HBO, you'd think peopel would be more open about it.

I dunno, it's wierd and makes s olittle sense. I think it's a marketing act to try and get people to get some more explicit material at some adult store.

Other then that... Uhh... Maybe there are strange censorship rules?

cuz it's an HBO porno. not a PORN porno. PORN porno's they stuff the camera right in there, you can practicallyhear the director yelling at the women to move their hair out of the way when giving blow jobs. yah. porn pornos and hbo pornos. Well, there are two types of pornos. Not counting the fettish ones, they are "Soft" core and "Hard" core. Soft cores are exactly how you described the pronos that you watched. They don't show the penitration or the girl's vag. Only her boobs. Hard core is simply when they show the penitration. Sorf cores are considered less pornographic for this reason. TV broadcasts can only show Soft core pornos. The only way to see Hard cores are through the Internet or buying porno movies at the video store.
