FA:U. Finished 3 hours of jerky preparation.

So, if you didn't know, I've been on the Whole30 plan to get my body back to 'zero'.. That way I can figure out what my body likes and dislikes.
Unfortunately, I have less than 10 days left in my plan. What's this Thursday until Sunday? My FA:U trip! D:
It'll be my GF (

So, I got this problem.
The whole30 is all, "Nothing our cavemen ancestors didn't eat." (EG: Paleo?). And I have a feeling our cavemen ancestors didn't get to party. No alcohol, sugar... No grain, no legumes..
SO it's going to be very hard for me to eat and stay true to this plan. But I believe in myself D: And I also hope and pray that this jerky I"m making is good. I bought 6 pounds of grass-fed beef and am marinating it for 24 hours so I have some protein to eat. (Next question.. What vegetables? Sigh.)
Looking forward to seeing people there. You going to FA:U?

Also yeah, cons and stuff will just screw over a diet, but you can pick up again after, don't think it's all broken.

This's a 30-day thing.. where for the past 21 days, I've shown commitment by not having any of the disallowed things.. I wouldn't mind breaking my new food ideals AFTER the 30 days.. D:
Yes it would be breaking your diet... but I hear a lot of people stop dieting because they make one mistake and then decide ALL IS LOST I BETTER EAT SOME CAKES... when they could prolly pick it up again and have a small setback.
I wanna stick to the plan, as uncompromising as it is.. Only 9 days more, at leat?
RE: Nightshades and Tomatos-- I'm just adhering to the 'basis' of the diet. If I eat tomatoes after the 30 days and I don't get sick, or I feel great, I can eat them. If I feel sugar and I feel great and no sugar crash, I can have it. If i have too much, I can know when the limit is..
