Lovers in Japan (Osaka Sun Mix), by Coldplay, from Prospekt's March EP
We finally reach a Coldplay song. Coldplay, for those of you who don't know, is my favourite band. This song originally comes from my favourite album of all time, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. The Osaka Sun mix is a very slightly re-mixed version that appeared on the Prospekt's March EP, and the version that plays in the official music video for the song.
So yeah, this song is pretty much fantastic. From the wonderful driving melody of the tack piano, to the ambient, lighter guitar that comes a bit more forefront and heavier during the soaring chorus, to the general happy and upbeat feel of the song overall, it's great.
