This is seriously stupid is all I can say. When people start pointing at little bitty things like this in games that just means this guy is trying to look for fame or attention. If the father has already explained to her child about her being adopted and understands about it, then she shouldn't be feeling anything wrong about it. In fact they didn't even ask the little girl how she felt about it. They just kept pointing the goddamned camera to the parents who kept on yakking about how insensitive those remarks are. The little girl didn't even show much concern at all since she seemed to be having fun. In my opinion, I think the father really needs to SHUT UP because I bet that the little girl didn't even ask her dad anything about that part. I suppose I can't blame the father for not realizing that his little girl, being adopted, HAS parents which is HIM and his WIFE. Another factor that got the father upset was NOT hearing the part when GlaDOS defends the player, but I guess he was too quick to be a moron instead. One of the comments on Youtube that was posted nails the solution:

Anyone who needs to "search for a way to explain" this to their adoptive child isn't fit to be a parent. "That character is the villian of the game, that's why they've said such antagonistic things. Don't worry, we love you no matter what and are very happy you are a part of our lives."
