Well, if this is concerned with religious beliefs, then this is probably going to be a pretty short journal.
I'm essentially an atheist. I don't really believe in God, or Gods, or any sort of supernatural forces. Now, I'm not for sure in those beliefs, I don't feel any real certainty that God doesn't exist, which put me in more into the agnostic camp, I suppose. So much of belief seems to come from emotion. You FEEL God's presence in your life, and as someone who is generally pretty unemotional, I just don't feel it.
I don't really care what other people belief, it's none of my business. I'm not one of those people who looks down on anyone with a relationship with God, because I know that it can enrich a person's life and help them promote positive changes. I've seen it happen.
I once had to sum up my personal philosophy for a class once, and I said something like this "Be the best you that you can be, and leave everyone else the hell alone." I don't care what people do or believe as long as they aren't hurting anyone, because it's none of my business. It's not up to me to tell anyone how to live in the same way that it's not for anyone else to tell me how to live. Unless of course someone asks for help, then it's fine (I have to include that, because otherwise I'd look like a hypocrite since I plan to be a psychologist)
Anyway, there we go. Another day down.
