Hello Everyone, sorry long time no post.

Hello everyone, sorry long time no post. Especially on DeviantART. I've been sick and on vacation as of late. Two months ago, I was admitted to the hospital. You can read all about most of it on my DeviantART webpage at http://reb29.deviantart.com. My DevART name is reb29 and you can also view some of my older artworks there. With this site, I am hoping to upload some of my newer pieces only.
I was on a medical school graduation vacation. One of my cousins graduated from medical school at Vanderbilt University and just got his M.D. in Internal Medicine. We were invited to the graduation and the party afterwards. The party was great! I had loads of fun, especially visiting with this particular cousin and meeting some of cousin's cousins and their families. I also got a chance to visit a bit with my cousin's brother and his daughter, who is just so cute! And this was also a chance to visit my grandparents and my third cousin who was just born in October of last year and named Blake. Blake was adorable! And my grandparents were happy just to see me and my mom and everyone else. I also got a chance to meet some of my grandparents' friends, some of whom had Alzhiemers and kept asking the same questions over and over but were delightful to be with all the same. My mom and I stayed in a very nice La Quinta inn and the staff were very polite and welcoming. We stayed for around two weeks and then headed back home. We were lucky that we went on the vacation just before the Arkansas Mississippi River flood and left right after the highways reopened. I did manage to take some photos of the damage with just my cellphone and sent some of the photos via Multimedia Text Message to my friends. They called and said that they were astounded at the amount of damage sustained and the quality of the photos. So overall, this trip was very eventful.
Then we received some very bad news. One of my cousins on my dad's side of the family is in the hospital in critical condition due to double kidney renal failure and Type II Diabetes. Type II Diabetes caused her kidneys to shut down and her potassium levels to shoot through the roof and knocked her blood pressure out of control. Then her kidneys shut down and are no longer functional. If she survives and they get her blood pressure back under control, she will be placed on the donor list for a double kidney transplant. But the doctors aren't hopeful that she will survive due to her Diabetes and the fact that she was abused by her husband to this point when that weekend some friends of hers helped her escape and who recommended that she see a doctor right away. She refused at first, but then at the persistance of her friends and the doctor, she readily accepted the fact that she needed hospitalization. She was then admitted to the ER and they said that they were surprised that she survived this long and suffered for this amount of time before letting herself be admitted. We also found out that she was also abused as a child. Turns out and I don't mean to sound anti-christian, but this is how it is with most these days, her family worshipped the Bible and when they found that she was not your typical "good Christian child" and had some small, minor mental disabilities, they turned on her and started beating her in a most horrific manner. They would beat her to the point of near death with belts and dog leashes and bats all the while reading the Bible to her and praying over her almost lifeless body. Then they would nurse her back to health and start all over. When she grew up, she became Pagan/Wiccan, like me, and worshipped her own religious belief system. Then she married, without knowing what he was, this jerk. When he found out that his so-called "good Christian" wife was of a different religion than him when they started dating, he started beating her and often times quoting the Bible at her. She then was forced to swallow and hide her true self and become Christian. But he continued his horrific reign of tyranny on her, since he also figured out that she was mentally disabled but very slightly. He continued to believe that by beating her and reading the Bible to her routinely during these horrible sessions, that she was eventually going to be cured of this "Satanic disease" and this "Satanic cult religion of hers" and become Christian and "good". He also forced her two have two children and when the young girl was proven to be Autistic, he subjected her and her mother to even more horrific abuse. This poor Autistic child then grew into her own and became Hindu and when her father found THIS out, he got mad and beat the poor child until she was near death when her mother and friends intervened and were able to get the daughter to the hospital and the mother out of the horrible craphole of a house and husband. The son was also rescued by police. But by the time help arrived and since he was older, it was too late. He himself accepted this as normal behavior to a woman and is now behind bars for domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend. Now his mother, who is in her early fifties is in the hospital. He, the son, is in his early 20s. Pretty scary. Well, that's all for now. I better get going.
Thanks for listening.
