So, I suppose I could update this, huh? Might as well.

As you may know, I got married on May 7th, the ceremony went wonderfully. Pictures are still being sorted through at the moment. For our honeymoon, we spent 3 nights in Cancun, which was an amazing time. Relaxation after months of wedding related stress, gorgeous scenery, and with events like being able to snorkel on a coral reef, it's likely we'll be returning for an anniversary in the future.

More recently, I just got back in from FA:United, my first furry con. I've done plenty of other cons in the past, but this one had a decidedly different, but quite good atmosphere. It seemed more... laid back, and friendly, if you will. You could genuinely sit down and strike up a conversation with anyone, and not get an odd look, where such behavior might merit one at say a sci-fi/fantasy con. Quite nice, that. The panels I attended were all quite good. Granted, the con did have its hiccups, registration taking 3 hours in line when I'd preregistered and a few scheduling and miscommunication between the con staff incidents, but overall it was quite enjoyable. Got to meet quite a few people in the flesh for the first time, and the fursuit parade certainly does have more of an impact in person.

So goes life. Who knows, maybe I'll finally upload some of my writings here in the near future.
