I've got a rather large and time consuming idea in mind, but I need some help from you guys. I need some fandom-related associations in terms of species.
So, what species do you associate with:
1. The Earth/earth, Down to earth, fiscal interest, physical reality, material body or possessions, day or night, green, brown?
2. water, emotion, fluidity, flexibility, subtle power, ethereal, love, dusk, blue/dark blue?
3. air, nobility, honor, strength, arched neck, straight-backed, reason and will, morning, white, gray?
4. fire, action, aggressive, fast, alert, creativity and energy, afternoon, midnight, red, yellow, orange, black?
feel free to answer with multiple species per number if you need to.

1.) The badger tops my list for this one, definitely. Other possibilities include wombat, gopher, mole, and bear.
2.) Otter, dolphin, crane, swan, octopus.
3.) Any of the birds of prey (eagles, hawks, falcons), the crane, the wolf, the Arabian horse,
4.) Cheetah (for day), leopard or panther (for night). The tiger, the red fox, the domestic cat, and the pine marten could also be good in this role.
