How many "controls" for cooling does it have?

In something that does not make sense, the fridge here has two, one to set the cold, and one thats actually only a shutter for vent access from the freezer part to the fridge.

In the spring and when it starts warming up outside, like right about now (finally), stuff in the fridge top shelf actually starts freezing some (just lost half a head of cabbage to it today), and the stuff in the freezer is not as firmly frozen as it was. So its a hit and miss juggle every so often between the two dials as the seasons change.

I've had that problem with mine before too.

I recentlly closed the curtain on a friendship with someone that four years ago I would have considered one of my more close friends. It wasn't necessarily a bad split, and I certain do not wish him ill will...in the end I think we just grew apart in opinions and goals until I realized that I was trying to talk to someone who I was only talking to because I remembered how things used to be rather than how they are now. If there is anything about this that really saddens me, it isn't so much that the friendship is over so much that I feel guilty I didn't do more to try to hang onto things.

One of these days you have to try my "Coyote Curry". Hope you like moderately spicy, and hot! (and shun those that think the terms "Spicy" and "hot" mean the same thing).

Im curious if they used the standard curry powder from the spice rack in the store, or used the Madaras curry powder from the store. THe Madaras is whats called "English curry" powder. Its a blend they use most often in curries. But oh there are so many more. Punjabi Masala (Masala means blend), Gharam Masala (warming blend), Bangala Masala (Sweet blend), Rajasthani Masala (Minty blend)... THe list goes on depending on what your doing and with what your looking for. My poor spice rack has turned into a two cabinet wide spice repository of raw seeds and components and a cuisinart spice grinder to grind those blends as I need them.

God I love a good curry almost as much as making one.

I used this stuff, it was on sell off amazon sometime back so I ordered it. tastes alright.

Not saying its not good, just that theres so many different versions depending on what you want.

Theres kind of an art to curries, but you are hard pressed to go wrong with any blend out there. 8-)

When i was in middle school i pissed off my English teacher who, claiming to read every book we submitted to make sure we did our book reports, i read and did a report on Musashi. Musashi is a 900 page small print book that is AMAZING. None the less, she wasn't amused . . .

I got ripped once on a "Open book report", as in, we could choose the book, do the report, and go from there. I made the mistake of doing it on the 3 book series by Asimov, known as "the Foundation Trilogy" - Well, it was ScFi, and not exactly a literary masterpiece if your a prude, but it was a book that spanned generations, things that bit others in ass later on for what happened then, complex stuff to keep track of. And I did my report orally and was the only one to do so in good form, and actually beat the time requirement.

I got an F on it, simply because the teacher hated SciFi.

I think this was about 8th for me.

I learned again, you gotta play the system how they want you to, or at least, let them think your "with the program", or your fucked.

one of my exes had a similar issue. He was amazing with words, weaving elaborate essays and poems that stunned the masses. Our teacher called his writing 'archaic' and nearly flunked him on everything he did.

Still have those writings too. They were beautiful. Woman had no taste in art. <_<

I think the larger lesson should be in discovering the things in life we personally value and not giving much credence to the authority of opinion we are 'supposed' to learn from mrs. eighth grade.

It's after 4 am. Woke up a little bit ago. ~Yawns~ I fell asleep on the couch again.

I have two Ravens. They're currently in my bedroom. They fly on top of me and peck and caw and kronk-kronk.

I enjoy wearing Victorian gentleman clothes. The top hat does the trick. I may be a man-eating Minotaur, but it doesn't mean I can't look dapper and civilized.

There are ravens in my front yard. I recognize the voice of a view of them,.. the little behavior of them fucking with the dogs or in spending time trading imitations of people-noises. It wasn't till I went full time out in the wilderness for a few years that I noticed how incredibly,... neat,.. these birds are and in their own way 'doggy'.

I also own a pair of tea glasses made in 1890. Boy howdy! did the style and professionalism with which things were made back then just not ooze the sort of flavor I enjoy the taste of! Admittedly I do not really dress the full banquet of it, being a sort of semi feral creature of dirt and tangle more fluently, I do so appreciate the look of such.

I must say,.. the more little flower shop of your detail emerges the prettier a monster you seem to these quietly watching eyes.

I am taking care of two dozen chicks. Baby chickens. I fear I'll screw up and make them ill or something... and I feel like I can't leave them alone.

Having raised lots of chicks I highly suggest having a feather duster in the box with them so they can hide under. A dish rag works too in a pinch, just some cover that feels like mom. As long as they are warm and out of a draft they should do fine. We used cardboard boxes with a 60 watt light bulb on for heat & light. Simple, cheap setup that worked well. They are pretty resilient creatures.
Sorry if that is telling you stuff you already know. I do <3 chickens tho. XD

Its a beautiful day outside.

I pulled up behind a Mercedes in a gas station. I noticed her window was partially down, she was talking on a cell and not paying attention. I then noticed her window was about 4-8x thicker than mine and as she got out to finish pumping gas she left the door ajar and it was modified enough for me to realize it was bulletproof. Quite discreetly. I had to stop myself from coming up to her and tapping her on the shoulder and telling her that her car was worthless because she just defeated every security system that was in place to protect her and oh by the way "Bang, you're dead." then walk away. I then realized whomever could afford such an auto probably didn't need a plebeian like me pointing out the holes in her security. She'd probably call the cops on me or throw some huge fit about it. Then I realized what I consider being a kind and considerate human being, pointing out the flaw in her expensive plans...would not be taken as such. So I drank my drink, watched her put the nozzle back then get back in the car, leaving the doors unlocked and window cracked before slowly driving off..still on the phone and oblivious to all around her. I feel so out of place sometimes.
