lol..yeah I got my problems too..but I tend to not worry about them because everything will work out in due time and if it don't then I tend to either try to fix it and if I can't I try to ignore it.

well since we are being honest here, I was born premie, a small portion of the corpous colostrum which connects the left and right brains together for communication did not fully develop and I have some aspergers(really hate that fact but gotta live with it) fortuanatly some problems have been compensated or I have learned to adapt to things better but I am nowhere near 100% cured..it's all in a matter of using what you have and compensating with it.

well another reason is my faith...Ever since I became a christian I found things accoring to the word to be a great help, makes things clearer in an unclear and confusing world. I feel if people were more christian like that they would be alot happier and could think clearer but I cannot choose or say who they are to belive for them..that is up to them.

well, he does inspire me to do the commandment, to treat others as I would like to be treated and to forgive others. Also I don't make such a fuss over small stuff that most people get upset about. After all life was never meant to worry so much over the small stuff. But moreover I try to tell others of christ and let them decide.

I'm a Catholic and a voraphile, and unlike our above friend here, I'm a fan of the dirtier stuff. It makes me feel guilty sometimes because vore is so darn creepy at times, and being Christian doesn't help with that, it only adds to the guilt. *shrugs* I don't really get it myself, honestly.

Why exactly I feel guilty, that's what I don't get. There's nothing specific in the Bible that says "Thou shalt not enjoy the thought of nomming thy fellow man's fantasy depiction of hisself." And I'm not a very faithful Christian--I rarely go to Church and I haven't read a Bible in a good two years now. What I don't get it why I feel some sort of guilt about being a voraphile. Sure, it's weird, but it's not because it's weird. There's an invisible religious connection to the guilt that I just can't understand.

I know. It can be very hard to trust people out there with this when the public is so against it. Would you share some of your own problems that you face here?

I'm afraid that in light of most of the things I can do, what I can't is not really valid, or my own fault (One should never try and hold onto a piece of metal while welding it, but it was an emergency. Much rather lost feeling in the left hand than stuck with a broken axle in Nevada). I just know from experience that being different in any way is something that society regards as "bad", and it takes a while to poke around and see who doesn't feel that way.

How does one 'poke around' best ?

I'm not sure of the best way to do it, seeing as I am subtle as a brick, and I just go up to people, 50's cowboy look and all, "Hey, what's up?" And observe whether they walk off or not.

I do try to stick up for people in public and if I saw someone mistreating you they'd get some harsh words/a fist to the face. <3

I know that Dragoneer is also a disabled individual, and relies on the help of the other admins to help him, but they often overreact and suspend or even ban people for supposed mistakes.

I know my friend Osmosis got me suspended by accident because he got involved in a situation involving me, which involved another individual whom Osmosis was involved with at the time.

I didn't know that you were at all disabled. I'm sorry to hear that. But I've never belittled someone for their disabilities. My first real friend in my neighborhood's younger brother is autistic, Down's syndrome to be specific, and a girl I'm close friends with's younger brother is also autistic, I believe Asperger's to be specific. And they are both extreme cases, the kind that "will never be able to function normally in society", as it's been said before. Which I believe is bull, but that's just me.
Myself? I've been diagnosed with A.D.D., O.C.D., Tourette's syndrome and a fine motor skills disorder. What does that all mean? It means sometimes doing easy stuff is harder than normal, and that I have little quirks which can really flare up from time to time, like a stutter or cracking my knuckles too often, or clearing my throat too much. But rather than using them as a crutch, I make the best with what I've got and just smile. I've been put down for my disabilities too, and they aren't even that noticeable. You might not even guess that there's anything particularly weird about me if you spoke face-to-face with me.
People just like to put others down because they're poopyfaces. I've been made fun of for being adopted (which I am), and that's just like "What the hell, person." Most people I've found aren't like this, thankfully. It'd be nice if everyone in the world could play nice, or at least be respectful of each other and keep our negative thoughts to ourselves, but until that day, just smile and shrug it off. What do they know, anyway? Diddily.

My mother is an amputee who helped get the Americans with Disabilities Act passed in the US Congress in the early 1990's. I grew up with disability rights activism. She's part of the reason we have handicap plates and parking spaces, among many other things. And she didn't do it by sitting around complaining on the internet. She got up and did something to empower herself, and the whole community. You might want to consider doing the same, instead of putting up a pity journal.
