Trying to answer this without sounding like a shill for Koolance, but they have a drop-pin pump/resivoir/radiator box that occupies 2 drive bays, and they make GPU blocks for just about everything current. Most of the setup I have, albeit 4 years old now, was bought from them.

Before you go watercooled, you may want to see if you can clean off the dust from your existing fans. Open it up, and see how much is in there, and blow it out.

Secondly, you should pad your PC with like a sheet of rubber or even using rubber feet. If you can, pad your hard drive too. This vibration can really resonate loudly.

Third, check if you can swap the fans out for something better. Zotan has some good stuff, but do your research.

If that's not enough, look for guides online on water cooling, plus kits. I've done it before, and it does help on volume but then I found better cooling heat sinks. Water cooling is EXPENSIVE though!

oi ehard of water cooling but what i see is if the cooling things pipes or wht ever it uses busrt its Game over for comp and if power still running some how and not sut off and water is pooling on floor can be game over for owner to. i just seee water and electronics working XD

btw, just one word.. watercooling systems ARE HEAVY (due of the radiator, reservoirs, tubes..etc.. filled with water and the blocks being 100% copper, silver..etc..
so if you're one of those who moves their computers too much, Dont go water..

my computer for example, weights around 35-40Kg with all the stuff (a COOLER MASTER COSMOS )

prepare for heavy lifting, one member of my clan have a computer they dub monster due to its actually 2 computer cases together and BOTH are watercooled, they actually have to use a cart to move it. Luckly it only stays in their closet and used as a server 80% of the time when we need it.

IMHO, leave the water-cooling systems in cars, where they're designed to be. If one of these things leaked in the computer, all sorts of electronics would get destroyed.

That's why you're not supposed to skimp on quality when you're buying the parts; heh.

Even so, the best parts in the world have a tendency to fail, and there is no fail-safe of any sort to water on electronics in a computer, so I say just stick to the best fan(s) and heatsink(s) that you can find and be happy with that.

If getting specific fitting parts is becoming an issue, you can search online for actual kits that will be made for your specific hardware. Then it's just a case of getting all the little extra bits you want.

On a second note, it also counts to what you want water cooling for, you can get quiet brushless fans for noise; But if you want lower temperatues then water cooling in the way to go.

If you really want cooling just build your system in to a mini fridge ^_^ Keeps the system and a 12pack cold.
