Don't wait for the queue to shrink—the commission docket is rarely empty.

I realized I always forget to tell people, and I got griped for it last year ("how am I supposed to know if you never tell anyone!"). :D My birthday is coming up on the 9th.

Wishes are welcome. I'll post a birthday journal the day before, and you guys can just say hi there if you want. <3 Then I can keep it forever!

I don't have any plans. I think Cory and my ex-boyfriend have some plan for us to go out but they're keeping it pretty secretive. Just knowing they're trying so hard has already been enough of a gift for me. :D

It's too bad I don't really like cake much. I guess that's why I don't play up the whole birthday thing very well. I'd rather just go to a bar and sing karaoke and have birthday shots. LOL. Ah, growing up.

But what about holycakes? or maybe cake flavoured shots lol XD I know you will get tons of love on your Birthday on FA :3! ~ I never like making a fuss about my own Birthday. Mostly cuz I don't like being the focus of attention, it's really awkward fer me! XD But like you said, I got griped at for not saying anything some years so I feel bad XD bwaahhh.

Cake flavored shots? Oooh or maybe sweet shots with a piece of cake in them? Shots of Rum cake! XD I need to look up drink recipes now. XD

I have never had flavoured shots... x_x;; I haven't really had shots very often as I used to find it hard to swallow stuff like straight vodka and rum. I found Jagermeister easier XD I prefer cocktails and wine personally... and ales. x-x so eah not an expert on shots but lots of girls I've known have raved about the honeycombe shots you can get.

Yessss let's make cake shots for Holydust. She might compromise. We can even set them on fire like a candle. Or just drop a candle into the glass. XD

Or maybe a massive shot glass with you naked singing happy Birthday instead of being in a cake D: derp!

Hell, I can do vodka and rum shots but Jager makes me cringe! Coconut rum is totally drinkable straight, though. Still, a good beer is always an option. :3 We have some great local breweries here -- St. Arnold makes the best beer around, IMHO. The guy who runs it actually is there at the brewery like every day, and he gives the tour personally. He's a cool dude.

I live in a part of the UK where local beers and ciders are well known and stuff, so plenty of lovely real ales and ciders for me~ *happy dance* Not many girls seem to like beer/cider though, I haven't met many at least. They seem to like their shots XD I haven't actually had shots for some time so i don't know how well I'd manage with them XD And I think maybe the Jagermeister was ok due to the number of cocktails I already had in me by then XD I told them I had never really done shots properly so of course the girls I was with on this hen night plied me with them after that x_x;; ended up pole dancing... wish I had seen some footage of that as I'd probably look like a right knob lol XD

Well, you're right -- I can stand Jager if I've already had quite a few and it's a last resort. LOL. But I hate the taste of licorice and it's got this dark, molasses flavor I cannot stand. I drank it in the back of a yaoifest screening once, so I was grateful Joel smuggled in a bottle (he was running it LOL). And again at that con another voice actor stuck at a nighttime panel where we were showing anime Hell clips had a bottle of Jameson and poured a few fingers of that into a cheap plastic cup. It was harsh as fuck and I had no water to chase it with, but I was desperate. LOL.

hahahaha awww desperate times and all that XD! I hate Sambucca omfg that stuff is... argh! I don't like Licourice either x-x I don't know why. Just blehhhhh. Boyfriend loves it though and I can't even like the smell x_x

That's also the only times I've been able to swallow vodka without it upsetting my throat, after lots of drinking... It's like the thoguht of the burning stops me swallowing, that's my problem. If I swallow it it isn't so bad but the thought is worse >.>;; also lots of swallowing happening in my comments tongiht x_x;

No, it's totally true! The burning doesn't bother me after a few, which is why it can get a little scary if I don't watch it. LOL. When the fear of pain is the only thing stopping you from pounding shots... well... I've gotten myself into trouble a couple of times thanks to liquid courage.

I'm a wuss XD I just don't really do with pain or discomfort very well for some reason ;o; I am sure with practice I'd get used to it XD I never socialized much in college when other people did so probably missed out on tons of fun things :<!

I bet you're tons of fun to go out with though, you'd probably also look after people and be a good laugh X3 I hope you get to go out for your Birthday.

They were going to take me to see Richard Cheese because I did it two years ago, but I mostly wanted to do that because he said it was going to be his last tour ever due to vocal issues. Now that he's doing it again I don't really fancy a do-over, so I went ahead and warned them when I caught wind of the plan, so they're coming up with something else. :D I'm not picky, but I didn't want them to feel like they wasted their time.
