My Big Day

I spent today at Benjamin Logan from 6pm and finished up with some food and family time.
For today I have done what my step dad was too hot headed to do.
I sat through and completed everything they through at me.
I sat through hours of ceremonial events and speeches.
I sat through two music numbers and more speeches.
I walked up on stage and I got awarded the hard earned fruits of my efforts-
I had finally, for 13+ year, grasped tight in my hands, my high school diploma.
Yep, today I am now a high school graduate and now have something to prove I am a higher rank than my step dad (not really my only purpose for it, just one of the big bonuses).
I managed to get $540 which I think is enough to pay for a round trip to Maryland and back wll still a bit left to work with.
My summer is going to be a good one I hope, and after a get a decent paying job, I'll be trying thing on my own.
To those here who have helped me stay in happy spirits, I thank you for your kindness.
To those here who have been total pains in my ass up until this day, I thank you for pushing me and giving me the strength to take on tasks more meaningful than you.
And to my closer friend here on FA. I really thank you all who accepted me and were so much fun to talk to and sometimes even RP with.
And to Ian/Kyubi/Rogenuchiha, I hope to see you soon.
A wise man once told me,
-'when introduced to a new food, you much taste it. If you like it, that's good. If you don't, then cook it in a way that you do like it.'-
I live by this not just with food, but with people.
No I don't mean I cook people I don't like. I mean that even with the people who crawl deep in your skin are fun to be around if the situation brings the best of them out.
Somebody might be the one you just don't want a single thing to do with but is a good help academically, or the jock type guy who gets on your nerves on a daily basis who takes a punch to the face for you. In the right light, you can get along with anybody, much like cooking that disliked food until you love it.
With that said, I like to think of you all who read this as my friends, no matter how bad we get along. I am glad to have made it this far and hope to go further still. Except, I hope the one I love will be there too. <:3

I got my diploma on sunday, it felt weird and unreal walking across that stage.
Still got about a third of the grad cake in the fridge, want a piece? XD
I couldn't think of anything for graduation, so me and a friend of mine are have a party together. <:3
