There are some things in life where these are just hilarious, such as hearing this particular snot brat go on how she's entitlted to do whatever she wants in the Magnited States of America! Just hearing this made me do barrel rolls of laughter. About time a movie theater is doing something to enforce the rule. Unless you're a doctor, turn off the damned cellphone!

A bit much for the text rule, but I definitely understand. At the same time, there's HUGE difference between using your phone to text and to use as a light. So, for that brat, "see ya".

Possibly but at one's own peripheral vision, one can be distracted by the sudden bright light coming from one's cellphone, not to mention quite annoying when they start doing so very constantly like every 5 - 10 minutes. I think I like other idea better to use that special coat of paint on the walls that prevent cellphone signals from going in or out.

Exactly my point for why they had to like you said. If it was something done in a corner, away from other people or at least done to be looked at outside the theater/auditorium, then I can't complain. Otherwise, wait. X)

As a cell phone user, I keep mine on a silent beep only when I'm watching a movie, and if I see some jackass using their phone, I tell them "You have three options. Put that phone away and watch the movie quietly like the rest of us, take it outside, or I'm calling the manager to have you removed, preferably by force."
